Belonging to the Vietnam Innovation Network and an initiative of Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, the VINEU network is a non-profit organization established with the purpose of gathering and connecting intellectuals, Vietnamese experts participate in promoting and developing innovation and science and technology activities between Vietnam and European countries, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam.

Witnessing the process of establishing the VINEU network and the efforts of young Vietnamese intellectuals in European countries, Minister Nguyen Chi Dung highly appreciated the efforts to gather and gather a large number of experts, intellectuals and Successfully organized the Vietnam Youth Initiative Program, established the VINEU network.

“This is the enthusiasm and heart of young people who want to participate and contribute to common innovation activities for Vietnamese youth globally. The VINEU network identifies missions including: Building, promoting and connecting the global Vietnamese intellectual community and linking, collaborating and contributing to bring practical value to Vietnam.

The main activities that will be implemented include: Consulting – training; investment – business connection; develop the scientific and technological intellectual community. The network will link and coordinate with the National Innovation Center to deploy domestic and international innovation activities.

To date, the Vietnam Innovation Network has more than 1,000 members in 20 countries and 4 component networks in Germany, Japan, Australia, and Korea. VINEU is the 5th component network of the Vietnam Innovation Network to deploy connection activities and support the National Innovation Center to more effectively access innovation ecosystems developed countries in the world.

Giving the direction of the network in the coming time, Minister Nguyen Chi Dung requested members to actively participate in building a Vietnamese intellectual community based on coordination with embassies, youth associations, and students. Vietnamese members in other countries to select and gather outstanding individuals to contribute to the VINEU network.

In addition, the network also needs to promote links and cooperation with major research institutes and universities in the European region to have effective connections and introduce many valuable scholarship and research sources. for Vietnamese students.
